Merkez Ambulance is a private ambulance operator based in Istanbul, working across Turkey. We provide vehicles, crews and medical equipment for people and organisations who need transport with proper clinical cover — not simply a ride.
What a private ambulance service does
Turkey has a strong public emergency system reached on 112, and that remains the right number for a sudden life-threatening emergency. A private service covers everything around it: planned transfers, transport for patients whose condition needs monitoring on the way, standby cover at events and facilities, medical escort on long journeys, and international transfers.
Our fleet and equipment
Our ambulances are equipped to the standard required for patient transport in Turkey: stretcher and carry chair, oxygen with reserve, multi-parameter monitor, defibrillator, suction, infusion pumps and an emergency drug kit. Intensive-care units additionally carry a transport ventilator. Vehicles are checked before every shift and restocked after every job — a missing item discovered mid-journey is not something we are willing to risk.
The people
Every ambulance carries a driver trained in patient transport and at least one health professional. Depending on the case we add an emergency nurse, a paramedic or a physician. The crew is matched to the patient, which is why we ask clinical questions before quoting rather than after.

Coverage
Istanbul is our base and where we respond fastest. We also carry out long-distance transfers to any city in Turkey and international transfers to and from the country. For organisations, we provide standby ambulances on contract at fixed locations and events.
